Erin Moriarty is an American television news reporter and correspondent for CBS News 48 Hours Mystery and also earned a law degree from Ohio State University. Moriarty has worked on several innocence cases, including most recently, the case of Ryan Ferguson, a college student who was wrongfully convicted of the murder of a sports editor on the basis of a friend’s dream. She co-authored the book Death of a Dream about the murder of dancer Catherine Woods and the conviction of her former boyfriend Paul Cortez.
